Low Pressure Equipment for Rigid Polyurethane Foams
Low pressure dosing unit model LPD-80L is intended for pouring rigid polyurethane foam, i.e. for the production of sandwich panels, doors for cooling chambers, pre-insulated heating pipes, etc.
It is a low-pressure type with a dynamic mixer on the mixing head. Gear pumps are immersed in tank with polyol and isocyanate (components), so they do not have sealing elements that exist in pumps that are mounted outside the tank. Therefore, there is no maintenance of the sealing elements as with pumps that are mounted outside the tank. Protection against excessive pressure in the component circulation system is mounted on the pump outlet.
Dosing unit has its own heating system for components. For cooling, it is possible to connect an external cooling unit.
Both tanks for components are equipped with mixers (agitators) for homogenization of components and acceleration of reaching working temperatures.
The filling of components into tanks by free fall from the container is controlled by PLC unit.
Dosing unit has a “touch panel” for entering and memorizing parameters for multiple pouring variants (e.g. different panel dimensions, etc.). Using the panel is extremely simple and user-friendly.
Dosing unit is controlled by PLC unit.
Cleaning of the dynamic mixer is done with a solvent under pressure of air.
The mixing head can be moved horizontally and vertically.
Dosing unit has wheels with a handle for steering and moving.
